Is Bruns Surf Shack good for families?

Definitely. Bruns Surf Shack is designed for relaxed coastal holidays and works beautifully for families, with three bedrooms, plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and an easy walk to beaches, cafés and the Brunswick Heads village. Families especially love nearby Torakina Beach - a calm, protected swimming spot that’s ideal for younger kids.

Is the house dog-friendly?

Yes - Bruns Surf Shack welcomes well-behaved dogs, because holidays are better when the whole family can come along. Brunswick Heads is wonderfully dog-friendly too, with nearby beach walks, river paths and outdoor cafés that welcome furry visitors.

Can you walk everywhere?

Yes — one of the best things about staying in Brunswick Heads is how walkable it is. From Bruns Surf Shack, you can easily stroll to cafés, restaurants, the beach, river, local shops and the pub. Many guests park the car when they arrive and barely use it during their stay.

Check in from 2:00 pm

What are the house rules?

No smoking

No parties or events

Guests must be over 21 unless accompanied by an adult.

No more than six guests

Additional fees may apply if house rules are not followed.

The house is in a quiet residential area. If you are out on the front deck, please be aware that loud music and noise travels easily to our neighbours. We ask that you bring any socialising into the house from 10pm.

When do I need to pay?

50% due at time of booking. Remaining balance due 7 days before arrival.

Can I cancel?

100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if canceled after.

Security deposit

A pre-authorization of AUD $300 is held one day before arrival and voided three days after departure
